Safeguarding for children for WHS external door
Hi all
As you are aware WinchesterHouse are now using the courts more and as part of Safeguarding improvements & ofsted recommendation we are ensuring that no one is in the courts other than the teacher when they are due on court a few changes are taking place in February.
These are the times the school will actually be on court. (Not actual booking time slots so you should have time to leave if you shower.
Monday 1.30-2pm
Tuesday 1.30-2pm and 5-6pm
Thursday 1.45-2.30pm and 4.15-6pm
Friday 1.30-2pm and 5-6pm
When Courts are booked out ,if you turn up early you will not be able to come in until such time that the courts are empty, wait in your vehicle.
The external door will be bolted from the inside, this will also be the same for WinchesterHouse teachers.
Please familiarise yourself with the times.
Thank you for your understanding.
We are also looking at a project for improving the access via the door looking with electronic access and the option to use your mobile.
New signage will be in the club for emergency contacts as well over the school break in case of future emergency’s in the club.
