HIIT Circuits

Afternoon All

Just wanted to let members know that Becky Horwood (PT extraordinaire!) is running a HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) circuit session on Tuesdays at 1550 on court two.

The session lasts one court session (40 minutes) and involves 8 'activity' zones each with a different exercise with 1 minute of exercise and then 20 seconds rest whilst you move to the next zone. This is done 3 times without a break.

Having just trialled it I can say that it's a great workout and I came off the court completely blown and perspiring profusely! The exercises vary from box jumps and kettle bells to two static exercises which really push things on! The exercises are aimed at improving your performance on court.

As there are 8 zones Becky can accommodate 8 members in one class

The first two classes; Tuesday 4th and 11th February are free. If all goes OK then Becky would look to run a block of 6 starting Tuesday 25th February

The block of 6 would be £30, £5 per session
