Our Covid-19 Secure Plan #3

Status - Phase 1 Preparing to open

Morning Members,

Hope you're well.

As a Committee we virtually met this week to go through the 21 page England Squash guidelines as we do our best to safely reopen. A key part of this is the Risk Assessment and the 'Back to Squash' Guidelines, which we have gone through & completed in good detail.

It's fair to say that this requires a reasonable amount of planning & subsequent action to ensure we get this right the first time & do all we can to minimise the risks to members & our landlords, WHS. This is now with WHS for review & feedback.

We are highly unlikely to open on the 25th July, the date which England Squash & Government will allow clubs to open under the latest guidance. I understand that some other clubs might well open, however every club is different and we need to do what is right for Brackley Squash Club.

If you are interested in what we have completed so far then please feel free to look at the documents. This is our first draft and will no doubt change as the situation changes.

We will keep you updated as things progress, do feel free to feedback by replying to this email, via Facebook or by contacting anyone on the Committee.

Further Comms will be shared in the coming days including agreeing to new membership terms which will need to be agreed prior to returning on court.

Best wishes,

Martin Hall

(Club Coach & Captain)
