Chairman’s request and comments

Hi everyone,

At the request of members to put on events during the year can I ask that you try to support these events. It takes time and a lot of effort all round to make these events a success.

If members do not want to participate that's fine as I know it is holiday season. However, it's about having fun, meeting other members along the way and maybe reminiscing over a few beers.

If we don’t get the participation to justify these events I don't feel the need for committee members to organise them next year.

Members often say how great the club is but this isn't always reflected in event participation. The club is only as good as its members!

We have spent a lot of money this season to keep it modern and up to date.

Check out the latest 2 events planned (Summer Club Championship and Handicap tournaments) - don’t be shy and get signed up! We do not have a magic wand and it just happens!!

We are all volunteers to make this club a success and it has not gone unnoticed by the local council over the last 4 years.

Of particular note is the fact that we are now 2019 Oxfordshire county champions - check out the latest life in Brackley magazine coming through your door.
