Weekly Coach Guidance #6

Good Evening Members,

Last week I mentioned that we're starting to see some sports reopen which prompted me to play tennis in my village with the kids. It’s nice to feel a racket in the hand again, even if it is heavier and the balls flies off it. We all know which racket sport is the best might I add!

It has also been Mental Health awareness this past week , a time to reflect & support others around us during this lockdown period as well as an opportunity to reach out to an old friend, work colleague or school mate.

We're continuing with the Joe Wicks YouTube family workouts, I think I'm getting stronger, time will tell once we get back on court I guess. He keeps repeating the message about progress, it's important to keep the routines up as this has a longer term effect. There are a number of routines to follow including the NHS Couch to 5k which is a 9 week program consisting of 3 runs a week;

Next week, we'll share a handy get-fit video submitted by one of our members, one not to be missed!
